Multi-layer PET film is composed of two or more layers of co-extruded PET film. The multi-layer co-extruded compound die head design allows even distribution of all levels of melt in the die head after expansion, and prevents channeling between layers. Other functions include automatic monitor and control of material mixing and transportation, temperature, speed, co-extrusion, and melt distribution to a very high degree of accuracy. Several applications of multi-layer co-extruded PET film include holiday decorative packaging, sequins, and gift packaging.
